I have two construction companies that specialize in high end custom finish work. Northwest Woodworks, Inc. in Montana and Ocean Pacific Builders, Inc. in Hawaii. Each company has a strong base of finish carpenters that have been working together for several years. These carpenters have an enormous amount of experience and take pride in doing a job with the utmost workmanship. That is why working with Dan Visintin on his projects has been so outstanding. Our association began on a 72,000 sq. ft. hotel in Big Sky, Montana and continued on until most recently when we worked with Dan on a luxury oceanfront retreat on the North Shore of Kauai. When Dan is the superintendent on a project, I and my people can be assured that the workmanship will be of the highest quality and the site will be clean and organized. Dan’s use of Auto CADD as a tool to direct all the subcontractors leads to a highly efficient workforce and keeps each project on schedule.

About Dan Visintin Construction

The Network

Based in Hawaii, Dan Visintin Construction is not a company comprised of a single individual, it is a global network of construction and design professionals that has developed over the past 33 years.

Since each project is different in terms of size and scope, I am able to provide services for a variety of scenarios, from an individual supervisory capacity to a complete pre-screened and field-tested construction team assembled from my relationships with engineers, architects, designers, and contractors.

The Builder

Dan Visintin ConstructionDan Visintin began his 33 year career in the construction industry in the summer of 1974 at the age of 13 working as a laborer for a roof cutter. In 1977 Dan elected to graduate early to pursue a career in construction on a full-time basis.

In 1979 he enrolled in construction related college courses which he attended in the evenings until 1981. Dan went through his apprenticeship program in the Carpenters Union and earned his Journeymen's Card in 1981. From 1981 until 1988 Dan refined his skills in the booming southern California construction industry and became well known as an accomplished layout man.

He became licensed by the state of California as a general Contractor in 1989 and took a salary position as Lead Estimator and General Superintendent for a commercial framing company based out of San Diego, California. The projects were primarily large and prestigious, e.g. the Stephen Birch aquarium and Museum, La Jolla, Calif.

In 1991 he became licensed by the state of Montana as a general contractor and built primarily large high end log homes for a prosperous clientele. In the year 1999 he returned once again to college enrolling in CADD (computer aided design and drafting) courses and became quite proficient.

Merging his newly acquired skills with traditional construction techniques opened doors to a new method of managing construction projects. In the year 2000 he accepted a position as a superintendent on a 72,000 sq. ft. hotel located in Big Sky, Montana. The project was completed start to finish in approximately 10 months. Dan has continued to specialize in the construction and supervision of two major projects in the last 6 years. A 10 million dollar residence in Montana's Yellowstone Club and a luxury residence on the north shore of Kauai, Hawaii.

Dan became licensed by the state of Hawaii as a general builder Contractor in 2006. Dan is a team player with the experience and resources to make your next construction project a success.
