As the Owner's Representative I have worked with Mr. Visintin on a highly complex custom residence in Hawaii. As the Superintendent, Mr. Visintin has always shown the highest level of professionalism and ethics in both his personal demeanor and in overseeing the execution of project task activities. He is extremely proficient in using a number of construction management software applications. He is also very knowledgeable of both design and building codes and possesses an innate ability of knowing when to solicit the input of design and engineering professionals and regulatory agencies. Personally I can attest to his having a profound knowledge of the entire construction process. I would highly recommend Mr. Visintin to anyone undertaking a large construction project.

About Dan Visintin Construction

The Network

Based in Hawaii, Dan Visintin Construction is not a company comprised of a single individual, it is a global network of construction and design professionals that has developed over the past 35 years.

Since each project is different in terms of size and scope, we are able to provide services for a variety of scenarios, from an individual supervisory capacity to a complete pre-screened and field-tested construction team assembled from my relationships with engineers, architects, designers, and contractors.

The Builder

Dan Visintin ConstructionDan Visintin began his 35 year career in the construction industry in the summer of 1974 at the age of 13 working as a laborer for a roof cutter. In 1977 Dan elected to graduate early to pursue a career in construction on a full-time basis.

In 1979 he enrolled in construction related college courses which he attended in the evenings until 1981. Dan went through his apprenticeship program in the Carpenters Union and earned his Journeymen's Card in 1981. From 1981 until 1988 Dan refined his skills in the booming southern California construction industry and became well known as an accomplished layout man.

He became licensed by the state of California as a general Contractor in 1989 and took a salary position as Lead Estimator and General Superintendent for a commercial framing company based out of San Diego, California. The projects were primarily large and prestigious, e.g. the Stephen Birch aquarium and Museum, La Jolla, Calif.

In 1991 he became licensed by the state of Montana as a general contractor and built primarily large high end homes for a prosperous clientele. In the year 1999 he returned once again to college enrolling in CADD (computer aided design and drafting) courses and became quite proficient.

Merging his newly acquired skills with traditional construction techniques opened doors to a new method of managing construction projects. In the year 2000 he accepted a position as a superintendent on a 72,000 sq. ft. hotel located in Big Sky, Montana. The project was completed start to finish in approximately 10 months. Dan has continued to specialize in the construction and supervision of three major projects in the last 10 years. A 10 million dollar residence in Montana's Yellowstone Clubluxury residence on the north shore of Kauai, Hawaii and most recently an ocean front retreat in North Kohala.

Dan became licensed by the state of Hawaii as a general builder Contractor in 2006. Dan is a team player with the experience and resources to make your next construction project a success.
